According to a report published by the NLA (New London Architecture) for London to survive post COVID it needs to transform city living, the idea is to create a series of mini-towns, from shops and schools to restaurants, recreation and entertainment, everything you need will be on the doorstep.

“No event has affected public life like Covid-19 with its sudden shutdown of social and economic activity,” says Peter Murray, chairman of NLA. “However, it also offers a chance to recreate London in a way that is sustainable and socially inclusive”.

We hope a shift to healthy, more sustainable living will take place in the capital, is it time to invest locally and transform the neglected high streets full of boarded-up units, charity shops and takeaways?
